I completed my Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Law and Business at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON. It was during my time at Ryerson that I discovered and began working for the Legal Innovation Zone (LIZ). As the Startup Experience Associate at the LIZ I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with legal-tech startups, lead projects, facilitate workshops, and understand all of the opportunities for change in the legal industry. I will be returning to the university to attend Ryerson Faculty of Law’s inaugural class of 2020. I hope to use my experience at the LIZ with my innovative legal education at Ryerson Law to become an atypical lawyer - a lawyer with entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation at the core of all my work.
